Session analytics is automatically logged whenever there is at least one user in a Space. In cases where events are back to back and where analytics data is required for each event, sessions may sometimes span multiple events as there is no guarantee that participants will leave the Space between events.

To address this, this API endpoint force ends an ongoing session. The ongoing session is then split into two sessions, one that ends when the endpoint is called, and another one that starts when the endpoint is called. All presence information is retained for the new event, but user join times are set to when the endpoint was called.
